This sketch poured off my pen. It was a solitary day and I was doing some deeper, harder thinking than usual. She appeared, serious and disinclined to be anyone but herself – no facade, no social smile, no apology.

Drawn in ballpoint pen and painted digitally with Grut brushes – a most delightful and amazing set of brushes for Photoshop created by Nicolai Grut.

    I think you’ve hit on it! Why don’t you do a couple more and then open it up to subscribers, say, at $10 dollars a year.
