I really like your use of clean lines around the face, hair and hand, the diffuse shading elsewhere and also the color — the deep red of the bus seat, the soft color of the girl’s dress and bolder tattoos. (I am really hoping they were, indeed, rub-on. :)) And those little bare feet, standing on the seat …..

    1. I haven’t – though I’ve seen some pretty young-looking teens with tattoos. I’m feeling like I need to shake up the drawing a bit – not sure where I’m going to go but it surprises me how tidy my drawings are – not what I’m particularly drawn to … always a learning curve!

  2. I expect that the frontier would remain uncrossed since most children are deathly afraid of needles.

    I love these pieces. They’re like quiet reflections. Both the art and its accompanying text. Thank you for sharing.
